Essential oils are unstable natural fluid mixtures that have been removed from plants. Most essential oils are steam refined. Citrus oils are an exemption for this; they are cold-squeezed from the natural product skins. Different oils come from various pieces of the plant. Cinnamon essential oil comes from the bark.
