Fresno’s New Theme Park Will Be a Major Attraction!
Fresno’s biggest attraction in the next few years will be something that has never before been done in California, at least not on this scale. The new theme park will be called FresNoLand and it will have hotel rooms, outdoor and indoor water parks, retail stores, and even outlets. All of this will be located right here in Fresno!
The new business will fill out 1/3 of the land
Construction has begun on the new project, and it is expected to be completed by 2020. With more than 100 acres of space, the theme park will be able to cover all the major California attractions in just one location.

Robert Sonnenblick has been touring the city and identifying locations for this project. He plans on continuing his search in Fresno and other California cities in hopes of finding larger areas for construction.
Six Flags is still in its early stages
The new Six Flags attraction will be at least 25 acres with plans for at least 20 rides and attractions. There will also be plenty of shopping opportunities for both adults and children. Six Flags is not building a park in Las Vegas, said a rep told the Weekly this morning. Furthermore, Construction is slated to start next year.
Unique entertainment feature that’ll attract locals, tourists
Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, the world’s largest regional theme park company, and its wholly-owned subsidiary Six Flags Construction Co. Inc. (Six Flags Construction), announced plans to build a new indoor waterpark and amusement facility in Fresno, CA. The proposed project will be developed on an approximately 675 acre site located east of Kettleman Lane and south of Highway 99 in West Fresno County. The new project will include an indoor waterpark with slides, pools, lazy rivers and wave pools as well as an amusement facility featuring roller coasters as well as other rides for all ages. Families can enjoy plenty of attractions both inside and outside including theme food courts and shopping areas for kids of all ages.

Can you have alcohol at Woodward Park?
Woodward Park, which is located on the border of Fresno and Clovis, has been the site of many public events. However, there are no alcohol-serving establishments at Woodward Park. And this may be for good reason as well. This past weekend was the Memorial Day Weekend where there was an event hosted by the City of Fresno to commemorate those that served in the armed forces. Now, one might think that it would be appropriate to have beer being sold at this event since Memorial Day is a day to reflect and honor those that died serving our country. But this wasn’t possible because Woodward Park has no alcohol-serving establishments on its grounds. Furthermore, Six Flags is not building a park in Las Vegas.

The entrance fee for Woodward Park is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. You can also purchase a season pass for just $40. Each year in January, there are many exciting new events to look forward to. How much is the entrance to Woodward Park?
Woodward is one of the most affordable amusement parks in California. It offers unlimited admission for just $8 and $6 for seniors and children under 48 inches tall. Plus, if you plan on visiting more than two times, the price will drop to only $4 per person. There is also free parking and free wifi for guests. The park is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturdays, and 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sundays.
